Steve Perry

Owner/Driver

Steve is a proud Greytown local whose family has run antique and import businesses for over 40 years. Passionate about his community, he takes pride in ensuring visitors to the region have the best possible experience.As a long-time member of the Greytown Fire Brigade, Steve has built strong connections across the Wairarapa, allowing him to offer guests a safe, welcoming, and authentic experience of the region.

Meet Alex

Wairarapa Guide

Joining us for the 2026 season, Alex hails from Canada. He has worked as a ski instructor, rural fire lookout, and last season guided walks in Wanaka and Queenstown. He’s looking forward to exploring the Wairarapa and sharing its landscapes, stories, and hidden gems with our visitors.

Harry

AKA "Harry Potter"

When he’s not contracted to FENZ or applying his expertise in emergency zones around the world, Harry works on developing projects and running online tutorials.With previous experience as a rural fire officer, Harry has an in-depth knowledge of the Wairarapa’s topography, native flora, and fauna. He’s also known for his dry sense of humour and lightning-fast wit.

Ariella

AKA "Number One Daughter"

Ariella was one of the youngest members to join the Greytown Volunteer Fire Brigade, becoming a firefighter in 2023. When she’s not baking or looking after her dogs, she’s studying with the goal of becoming a career firefighter. This season, she’s assisting with small shuttle runs and vehicle transfers.
